Project Summary: The aim of this project is to investigate the effects of protein corona formation on the drug release and photothermal therapy applications of gold nanorods- and chemotherapeutic drugs- containing albumin-based multimodal nanocarriers

Protein corona influences the biological functionality of nanocarriers, including their interactions with cells, elimination times from the body, and targeting properties. Therefore, understanding its impact is crucial for optimizing materials for future in vivo and clinical studies, ultimately enhancing their potential success in applications.
