Our group members Yağmur Zengin and Öznur Safgöl attended the RSC Poster event organized through Linkedin. They presented our recent works on combined cancer therapy and targeted drug delivery systems. It was a great experience.

Design of Biopolymer-Coated Gold Nanorods as Biorelevant Photothermal Agents, Yağmur Zengin

• We have introduced an innovative biopolymer-coated gold nanorod as a potential photothermal therapy agent for cancer treatment.
• By coating gold nanorods with biopolymer conjugates, we have significantly enhanced their biocompatibility.
• Our research presents a safe, non-toxic, and effective photothermal therapy agent for potential applications in cancer treatment.          

Development of Multiresponsive Hybrid Nanocarriers for Targeted Drug Delivery Applications, Öznur Safgöl

• We obtained novel hybrid nanoparticles as promising targeted drug carriers.
• The system is designed with a multiresponsive structure, including enzyme, temperature and pH sensitivity.
• Our study offers promising non-toxic and effective hybrid nanocarriers for potential cancer therapy.
