May 2025 -19th Polymers and Nanomedicine Minisymposium

We are pleased to share that the 19th Polymers and Nanomedicine Minisymposium took place on May 15th, 2025, jointly organized by the Bind Laboratory of Boğaziçi University (Banu Iyisan, Türkiye), Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (Katharina Landfester, Germany), Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (Daniel Crespy, Thailand), and Ocean University of China (Shuai Jiang, China). The event featured inspiring talks from spatiotemporal control in synthetic cells using light to smart nanocapsule-based drug delivery technologies.
It was a real pleasure to connect and exchange ideas with leading scientists and experts in the field from around the world. We thank our invited speaker, Prof. Seraphine Wegner (University of Münster, Germany), who gave an inspiring talk titled “Spatiotemporal Control in Synthetic Cells Using Light” and our PhD candidate, Zeynep İrem Özcan, for her presentation titled “Hyaluronic Acid Nanocapsules as pH-Responsive Nanocarriers for Controlled Doxorubicin Delivery” Congratulations to Zeynep for sharing the latest findings from her doctoral research.
